Claims have emerged that Jubilee party officials are on the spending spree to woo popular candidates in the August 2022 general elections to join Jubilee Party.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria through his official Facebook page, claimed that the ruling party has spend more than one billion in what he termed as buying popular candidates.

“Jubilee has spent Ksh 1 Billion from yesterday to today buying aspirants. We will still defeat you resoundingly,” His post read.

Ngirici worth Ksh 50 million ?

Dennis Itumbi who works for the Deputy President also alleged that Kirinyaga woman representative was called to the state house where she accepted to join Azimio.

Itumbi further alleged that she demanded Ksh 50 million shillings which is to be paid before accepting to join Azimio La Umoja.

“The President summoned a meeting in State House over the Weekend. In the meeting, Kirinyaga Woman Rep Wangui Ngirichi was asked to join Jubilee. She negotiated and agreed to join Jubilee at a cost of Kenya Shillings 50 Million,” his post read in part.

Pauline Njoroge has refuted such allegations questioning why Itumbi was contradicting himself, in a response, Njoroge failed to understand why Itumbi was changing the story yet he had claimed that the money had already been paid to Ngirici.

“So yesterday he said that the money had been paid. Today he is creating a story to show that the money hasn’t been paid,” she stated.

Wetangula to join Azimio ?

Earlier today, reports doing around social had also suggested that Wetangula met Raila Odinga in Karen today.

Wetangula dismissed these claims saying that he was meeting his party candidates in preparation of Party primaries.

“I have had a busy moment at Ford Kenya party Headquarters receiving, advising, and encouraging our candidates in preparation for party primaries. Kenya Kwanza is the valid dream and hope for Kenya under the leadership of Ruto and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi,” he stated.

I miss Wetangula-Kalonzo

These claims come days after Kalonzo Musyoka stated that he misses Wetangula and he would hold talks to try and convince him to join Azimio La Umoja Movement.

“I tell you, I miss Wetangula because I have suffered and struggled with him. So don’t be surprised if he joins me. I pray every day and night for Wetangula to leave Kenya Kwanza and join Azimio La Umoja,” Kalonzo stated.
