DJ Brown Skin Arrested for Aiding and Failing to Prevent Wife’s Poisoning Incident
Popular disc jockey Michael Macharia Njiiri, known by his stage name DJ Brown Skin, has been apprehended by the police for his alleged involvement in a distressing incident that occurred in July 2022.
Authorities have announced their intention to charge DJ Brown Skin with the offense of aiding and failing to prevent a crime, in violation of Section 225 (C) of the penal code.
“He will be charged with the offense of aiding suicide and failing to prevent the same contrary to Section 225 (C) of the Penal Code,” a post by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Twitter read in part.
The incident came to light when it was discovered that DJ Brown Skin had recorded a video of his wife consuming poison.
Disturbingly, the police revealed that he had subsequently shared the distressing footage with his girlfriend, who resides abroad.
“Detectives have since established that after recording the ordeal, the suspect sent the video to his other girlfriend living abroad, before the girlfriend went public with the information through the blogger,” the post read.
