Governor Julius Malombe now accuses Ngilu of corruption
Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has accused former Governor, Charity Ngilu, of misappropriating county funds.
While addressing the third County Assembly of Kitui, Malombe alleged that there has been no development undertaken in the last five years.
“In the last five years, no tangible and visible development has been undertaken to meaningfully uplift our people’s livelihoods. We have inherited a sad state of affairs,” he said.

He added that the past regime led by Charity Ngilu oversaw what he termed as misguided investments, coupled with poor and inept management.
