Kalonzo and allies threaten to quit Amizio

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s supporters have threaten to leave Azimio La Umoja One Kenya alliance if not picked as Raila’s Deputy.

Kitui senator Enoch Wambua warned that if the kamba community is not given the deputy president slot, then they will leave the alliance.

“…If we don’t get justice, I want to make it very clear today, in presence of our Bishops here. If this community is not served justice. Then we shall and equivocally exit Azimio One Kenya,” Wambua warned

Senator Kilonzo Mutula confirmed that Kalonzo will not attend the interview.

“Kalonzo Musyoka is not attending the interview on Monday. Mr. Wekesa you can write this down, Mr. Musyoka is not attending,” he said

He further warned the Chairman of the panel not to pick another candidate as Raila’s running mate.

“Please don’t attempt to release results indicating that Kalonzo didn’t attend the interview. Then you give someone the Deputy President slot, si mseme kitaumana,” Kilonzo warned.

Mike Sonko’s take

Mike Sonko who is contesting for Mombasa gubernatorial seat, stated that top leaders in Azimio were pushing for Kalonzo to be the speaker. He added that such post should be given to Peter Keneth.

“They want to give our party leader the speaker’s position. Do you agree with that? The right man for that position is Peter Keneth. Our party leader to be the next deputy president,”

KRN can now reveal that Kalonzo will be in Cuba on the day that he is supposed to be attending the interview.

“Kalonzo is the marking scheme of who the president of Kenya should be. He’s not corrupt, he is handsome, and a Christian. If you put him with other people, that’s being disrespectful,” Mutula added.

Kalonzo on his part stated that he was more than ready to deputize Raila.

“People are ready to make sure that the journey I started with Raila in 2013 and 2017 will end in 2022,” He said

Enoch Wambua added that they need Raila to reciprocate his support to Kalozo.

“What I don’t want is people bringing insincerity in politics of Ukambani. If we have agreed to support Raila to be President, then there’s a responsibility for Raila and his people to support Kalonzo to be the deputy president,” He added.
