Media personality Mark Masai has launched the social newsroom, which comes days after he was fired by Nation Media Group.
What’s the social newsroom launched by Mark Masai?
According to a close friend of Mark Masai, the social newsroom will be broadcast on social media platforms. The show is set to offer stiff competition to traditional media houses.
The celebrated journalist announced his show minutes after launching it. Masai said that it was a new way of doing things.

In a short clip posted on his social media platforms, Mark Masai told his followers that times had changed and he was literally welcoming them to the future.

Mark Masai joins other established journalists who have invested in social media as a way of reaching their audience. One of the notable media personalities who is making it on social media is Gerald Bitok, who owns The Tackle.

Just like the tackle, the social newsroom can make it big by inviting important personalities like politicians and other notable Kenyans.
