Ngirici takes a swipe at Waiguru, says she ensured there’s no slip of tongue
Kirinyaga woman representative Wangui Ngirici has taken a swipe at Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru. While campaigning in Mwea constituency, Ngirici sarcastically said that at least she didn’t have a slip of tongue when addressing the people.
“Had a great conversation surrounding my community Empowerment strategy with the great people of Ciagini and Marurumo in Mwea constituency.I ensured there is no slip of the tongue of any kind when making such commitment, When we are with the people who trust us we speak what is in our hearts,” said Ngirici.

Anne Waiguru while addressing delegates during the signing of Kenya Kwanza alliance coalition, referred the Deputy President as the leader of Azimio coalition.
“Sorry, oh my goodness, and the party leader of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, my sincere apologies because I was thinking of what I will say about Azimio,” she added.
The sentiments caused an online uproar with leaders allied to ODM leader alluding that Waiguru’s heart was still in Azimio.
“Hon. Anne Waiguru’s was not a slip of the tongue but a well calculated message meant for her master. She knows very well that it is Azimio moment and the time is now, truth must be told,” Philip Etale posted on his twitter handle.
