Rachel Ruto, wife to the Deputy President William Ruto surprised many when she urged kenyans to support DP Ruto’s presidential ambitions come August 2022.
Speaking in Makueni, Rachel Ruto, said that Ruto was the only presidential aspirant who has Kenya’s interest at heart.
“I urge you the people of Makueni, the only party is UDA, I know the Deputy President, he has Kenya’s interest at heart and I know when God will bless him, he will do a lot of things. He sacrifices so that others can benefit,” She said.
She further dismissed those opposing Ruto’s church donations stating that he didn’t start giving recently.
“Ruto didn’t start giving today, he will continue giving, the bible says that the hand that gives is the hand receives, the secret of receiving is giving, ” she added.
Rachel becomes the latest woman related to the presidential aspirant to join the murky world of politics.
