Raila’s ally claims that President Uhuru is the cause of MusaliaRaila breakup

Robert Alai, one of the staunch supporters of the ODM leader Raila Odinga has once again alleged that President Uhuru is the cause of the breakup between Raila and Musalia Mudavadi.

In a Facebook post seen by KRN, Alai claimed that President Uhuru told OKA principals that Raila called Musalia a political wheelbarrow who could not move unless pushed.

“When Uhuru met the OKA team in Sagana last year, he told them that he asked Raila that their candidate be Musalia Mudavadi for 2022.  Uhuru told them that Raila said that Musalia Mudavadi is a political wheelbarrow (no food unless pushed) and loves only alcohol 24/7 so even campaigning with him will be baggage,” his post read in part.

He added that President Uhuru further stated that Musalia was stressing Baringo senator Gideon Moi with campaign bills.

“Uhuru said that Mudavadi was stressing Gideon Moi with campaign bills even for rallies in Kakamega and Vihiga,” he added.

Alai further stated that Raila told Uhuru that he had opted to work with hardworking Luhyas like Governor Oparanya.

“Baba reportedly told Uhuru that if he was to go for a consistent and hard-working Luhya, he’d rather go with Oparanya. That revelation from Uhuru annoyed Mudavadi. From that time, he vowed to openly join the wheelbarrow gang,” Alai said.

In August 2021, Alai made allegations that President Uhuru was secretly campaigning for his Deputy.

In a series of media posts dubbed #StrengtheRutoWeakenRaila, Alai said that Raila was being taken for a ride, he stated that the state was faking Ruto’s tribulations to make him more popular.

While reacting to reports that suggested that the government had withdrawn Ruto’s GSU security, Alai alleged that it was another move to weaken ODM and build the UDA party.

“Another move which campaigns for Ruto. Pretending to withdraw security from Ruto’s homes builds Ruto. I don’t know why the determination to campaign for Ruto is like he doesn’t know how to campaign for himself. Why weaken ODM and build UDA indirectly?” He curiously asked

Yesterday, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi declared that Raila’s Azimio La Umoja outfit was not an option for him when it comes to looking for political friends.
