Ruto to Uhuru: “Don’t bring useless, empty propaganda, shame on you,”
Deputy President William Ruto has today made hard hitting remarks directed to his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
While addressing a political crowd, DP Ruto asked the President to have some respect and stop fueling cheap propaganda about his impeachment claims.
“Please my friends have some respect. I’m the one who helped Uhuru Kenyatta. Have some respect. Even if you don’t want to support me, stop lying and fueling propaganda. Stop dividing Kenyans,” He stated.
Additionally, Ruto claimed that those opposing his agenda had resorted to cheap propaganda because Kenyans had refused to listen to them.
“You claim that William Ruto wanted to overthrow someone I helped get into office? Please stop propaganda and lies, you are dividing the nation for nothing because Kenyans have refused to listen to your lies,” he added.
“Kenyans have refused your project, the one you’re sponsoring to further your plans, I’m an adult, I’m sober, I’m not a drunkard, that I can overthrow the government I helped create,”
In what seemed to be directed at the ODM leader Raila Odinga, Ruto stated that those who plan to overthrow the government are well known. He cited an incident that happened in 1982 and 2017 where Raila Odinga sworn himself in as the people’s President.

“The person known for overthrowing the government is in Kenya and he’s known, 1982 he tried to overthrow the government, in 2017 he sworn himself in to try and overthrow the government, you must be confusing me with your project,” Ruto stated.
“I want to state without fear of contradiction…I want to ask our friends to respect those of us who campaigned for Uhuru Kenyatta and made him President. Don’t bring useless, empty propaganda, negative ethnicity because you have no plan,” He added.
