Super Metro buses are giving the big boy sleepless night
New entrants in the Matatu sector have given the giants in the industry a run for their money.
Super Metro buses have taken over almost every stage in Nairobi. Their main source of success has been offering discounts to their customer.
Kenyan on Twitter have praised the services offered by Super Metro.
“Kenyans are pleased with Super Metro. We need more such genuine companies where both ends of engagement benefit and are satisfied,” a Twitter user by the name KOT Chairman stated.
Another user praised the Sacco for maintaining discipline and having neat drivers and conductors.
“Super metro turns out to be the best when it comes to Thika Road. Disciplined & clean Drivers and Conductors. You can pay via Mpesa. Good People. To have a clean City, we must sanitize our transport Systems by adopting Super Metro…Hats off Ujinga Ya Nganya Hakuna,” He said.
However, another user alleged that Super Metro is being used to launder money. He questioned how the buses could manage to operate with over half discount on transport fare.
“If only you knew how money laundering happens using the matatu industry you’ll stop praising Super Metro. It’s not practical to charge 50 from town to Kitengela na ulipe loan!” Babu Obzah alleged.
