“You will cry” Kenyans deride Bahati over Mathare MP Ticket

Kenyans on Twitter have told Kevin Bahati to prepare for premium tears after Azimio La Umoja- One Kenya coalition resolved to give ODM the Mathare slot.

“I agree with ODM that Bahati has no Business being in Bunge. Don’t even promise him a job, handling Diana and showbiz is job enough. Jubilee has a propensity for dishing certificates to illiterate men who earn it through CRYING in public. Don’t turn Nairobi into a circus banaa…”  Maveric Atieno said in a post.

Bahati cries foul after being told to step down as Mathare MP aspirant

Edwin Sifuna who is eyeing the Nairobi senatorial seat and also the current ODM party Secretary General said on Monday, June 27, 2022, that the coalition had settled on Anthony Oluoch. Anthony is the incumbent Mathare Member of Parliament.

“Our colleagues from Jubilee will be presenting their candidates from eight constituencies and those from ODM will present some from eight constituencies,” said Sifuna.

“Zoning was done perfectly even here in Mathare we have agreed that it’s an ODM zone. We only have one candidate in Mathare and that is Anthony Oluoch, this young man called Bahati is my younger brother and we will talk. I will make sure that we find him another position within the Azimio government.” He added

However, the wanani hit maker dismissed Azimio La Umoja’s stand saying that they should stop misleading voters. He said that he has not stepped down for anyone.

“Dear Azimio… stop misleading the voters of Mathare. Bahati – MP Mathare has not stepped down for anyone,” he wrote in a social media post.

Bahati on one occasion cried when it emerged that Jubilee Party had decided to leave the seat to their coalition partners the ODM party.
